Offline and sync
Your notes on every device
Sign in anywhere and your notes are there, updating live.
What it is for
Start a note on your laptop and finish it on your phone. Edits appear on your other devices within a second or two, and editing the same note in two places merges rather than overwriting.
How to use it
- Sign in to the same account on each device — any browser, or add Mnemox to your phone's home screen.
- That is all. New notes, renames, moves and deletes appear elsewhere without a refresh.
Examples
Laptop to phone
Write the agenda at your desk, then open your phone in the meeting and tick off items as you go. The laptop shows the ticks when you are back.
Two devices, both offline
Edit the same note on a tablet and a laptop while both are offline. When they reconnect, both sets of changes are kept — there is no “which version do you want?” prompt, because nothing has to be thrown away.
Good to know
- Signing out clears the notes stored on that device, so nothing of yours is left behind on a shared or borrowed machine.
- Sync and offline editing are free on every plan, permanently.
