Start a canvasPro
A note that opens straight into a full-size drawing.
What it is for
For the times the picture is the point and the words come after. Insert a drawing assumes you are already writing; a canvas starts from the drawing.
How to use it
- Press New canvas in the sidebar toolbar, beside New note.
- The new note opens straight into a full-size drawing. Draw, then press Done.
- It appears in the current folder like any other note, with its own icon so you can tell it apart.
Example
A whiteboard for a call
A sketch that does not belong inside an existing note, kept in the same folder as the notes about that project.
Good to know
- A canvas is an ordinary note that happens to begin with a drawing, so you can rename, move, tag, share and search it, and write underneath the drawing too.
- Canvases are part of Pro, like every drawing.
