Delete your account
What deleting removes, what happens to billing, and how to do it.
What it is for
Deleting your account removes you and everything you wrote from Mnemox for good. It is here so you never have to email anyone to leave.
How to use it
- In any Mnemox app, or signed in at mnemox.so in a browser, open Settings → Account and scroll to Danger zone. Choose Delete my account.
- Want a copy? Choose Export all notes first in the same dialog.
- Type your email address to confirm. If you sign in with a password, enter it too.
- Sign in with Google or Apple only? If your last sign-in was more than 10 minutes ago, choose Sign in with Google (or Apple) again. You come straight back to the dialog.
- Choose Delete my account. You land on the sign-in page with "Your account has been deleted."
Example
You are switching apps
Export all notes, check the zip opens, then delete. The export is yours to keep.
Good to know
- It is permanent. Your notes, folders, tags, canvases, reminders, shared links and Linear, Jira and Google Calendar connections are deleted, and your phones stop receiving notifications. If you signed in with Apple, Mnemox's access to your Apple ID is revoked. There is no undo and no recovery.
- Can't sign in, or no longer have the app? Email support@mnemox.so from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We do it within 30 days and confirm by email.
- A Pro subscription is cancelled at once. The rest of the period you paid for is not refunded. Past invoices are kept, because they are tax records.
- Issues you already sent to Linear or Jira stay there — they belong to those tools.
- This device is cleared. Other devices are signed out, but notes opened there can stay in that browser's storage until it is cleared.
