Finding things
Pick up where you left off
Reopening the app lands on the note you were in.
What it is for
Close the tab, come back tomorrow, and you are in the same note with its folder open — not on an arbitrary one you then have to navigate away from.
How to use it
- Nothing to do: Mnemox remembers the last note you had open.
- Every note has its own address (it ends in ?n=…). Bookmark it, or keep it in your browser history, to jump straight back to that note.
- Your browser's back and forward buttons step through the notes you have visited.
Example
A note you open every morning
Bookmark your daily planning note. One click from the bookmarks bar opens Mnemox on exactly that note.
Good to know
- If the note was deleted on another device, Mnemox opens your most recently edited note instead, with no error.
- Each account in the same browser remembers its own place.
- The note is restored, but not your scroll position within it.
